SUMMARY:
Colin is the Founder and Managing Director of Geothermal Heating and Cooling Australia since 2008 as Managing Director and CEO. His main role has been to help Australian businesses and individuals understand the opportunities ground source heat pumps present for heating and cooling using renewable energy.
Colin has supervised and participated in the construction and commissioning of Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) and Hydronic underfloor heating systems since 2004, Colin has specialised in Plumbing and Gas fitting and has a passion for water and energy saving plumbing and HVAC solutions Colin has worked on large mining projects, small to large construction projects as well as domestic plumbing. Colin has run and managed a number of Plumbing businesses since 2001 including working in the UK.
In 2004/2005 where he worked on Ground source heat pump systems predominantly for under floor Heating Colin has been asked to present on Designing and assessing Ground Source heat pump applications and has attended a number of conferences and events Australia wide Colin has been a strong force in promoting the technology in Australia and has Lead the way to set up the Australian Chapter of IGSHPA the worlds leading Authority on ground source heat pump systems, Australia is yet to have a standard set for the installation of GSHP systems and at present Australian Industry professionals agree that Australia should and most likely will adopt the IGSHPA standard if you have any questions for Colin or would like more information please feel free to contact us 1300 735 949
